Dad’s healthy and I’m making 3D modules

My dad just got his new kidney in and it looks like it won’t be rejected! But he’s rather ornery that he can’t work yet.

Anyway since I’ve last posted I decided to drop Black Book: Latondra, until I take a brake from Lost at Sea or Demora. I just started the next episode of Lost at Sea. Also I’ve got the student addition of Inventor® so I can make 3D modules at home, I might post them some time just don’t expect prints EVER for the obvious legal issues.

My dad just had his kidneys removed (he’ll get a new one around Christmas) and is in the hospital. Anyway he made me print out the photos of his infected kidneys so he could see what they looked like (he’s crazy like that). His kidneys where 10 pounds each and the size of someone’s head! So needless to say the pics where quite discussing, but if it makes him happy…

Almost done with another comic it’s going to be a Lost At Sea. From now on it’s going to look like the newer episodes of Black Book do, unless it’s from Sam’s point of view (like most of the episodes so far have been) in which case it’ll look like Ep: 9 does but better.

Yay for stick people!!!

Most of the comic from now on will be from AJ’s perspective which is a bit darker, were as Sam’s is wackier. Also there will be at least one more perspective which I’ll talk about when I release the next episode, which will probably be tomorrow as it’s essentially done.

I’m using a new layout from now on though the next BB will not have it as I’ve already drawn it in the old form. The new form is more horizontal (like the old LaS episodes) and the boxes won’t always be square (I decided no action comic ever got anywhere with four liner boxes holding it down).

Oh and also LoaG is dead… kind’a, I’m going to re-release Parents and Cars as a random comic and I’ll probably make more random comics in the future. I wasn’t serious about LoaG anyway and it died before it even really existed. This brings my number of series to a slightly more manageable three. “What’s the third” you don’t ask because you probably don't care, well it’s basically a bunch of little universes I thought up over the years crammed into one… thing. It’s called DMS (for now) and is so uber-sweet it requires maps and PowerPoint’s to make sense (just like most of BB but that’s beside the point).

I’ve almost finished the next episode, and I got my scanner to work (apparently you need to plug those things in go figure). Any way I’ll be summiting some other peaces I’ve done which are far better quality then the style I’m using in the comic. I hope to get the comic art work to be as good as my other drawings.

I’m working on the next installment of Latondra it’s just taking a while because I’m lazy. On the plus side I’m almost done and I got a scanner though it’s old and I haven’t tried it yet. I’ve also got a new 5ms 22” wide screen LCD and my 7800 is now over-clocked, not that that has any thing to do with the comic (except distracting me from it of course) I just fell like bragging.
